Mysterys Extinction was a four man crew that consisted of Deja-voo (beat-maker,emcee), Sandy Lion (emcee, in house artist and folk singer), Blame One (emcee), and DJ Cro (supreme on the 1's and 2's and beat maker). The group formed in North County, San Diego during the early 90's. Most of the early recordings were formed when introduced to Kan Kick by Deja's cousin, better known as Gods Gift (check the Lootpack joints). Many early sessions were recorded at Kan Kick's lab in Oxnard. Deja soon after took on the art of beat making and the debut self-titled album was primarily produced by Deja, with the exception of "Observation", which was an earlier Kan Kick recording. In 1998, the group was featured on a 12" compilation called "The Blastoff Compilation Volume 2" which feature friends Emanon; also Mike Meyers, Jizzm and more. You can also find our song "Moderation" on Kan Kick's release "The Traditional Heritage". Several of our older songs were re-released by the European label Raw Wax(www.rawwax.co.uk).
