Get Back Guinozzi! is a French band formed a few years ago by Eglantine Gouzy and Fred Landini. After a brief foray as a solo artist in 2004, singer Gouzy teamed up with multi-instrumentalist Landini for this unique collaboration. The band’s debut album Carpet Madness is an interesting ride, blending genres, random concepts, child-like vocals and a plethora of backing tracks.

PHANTOGRAM is the duo comprised of SARAH D. BARTHEL and JOSHUA M. CARTER of Saratoga Springs, NY. Their music can be described as a culmination of unique street beat rhythms, spaced-out synths, swirling guitars, with the combined textures of technology and organic origin. Electronic loops, hip-hop beats, shoegaze, soul, pop - each finds its way into their songs. Unexpectedly, the band doesn't live and work in a major urban center, but rather calls the town of Saratoga Springs, NY home (population 26,186). PHANTOGRAM's debut album release brings you a fresh new sound of electronic influenced rock. All tracks have been written, composed, performed and engineered by Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter themselves.

Money Mark-Brand New By Tommorow(2007)

Money Mark is the alias of Mark Ramos-Nishita, a keyboardist whose funky, retro-flavored riffs earned him the unofficial title of the fourth Beastie Boy. Born in Detroit to a Japanese-Hawaiian father and a Chicano mother, Nishita moved to the West Coast when he was six; some years later, he hooked up with the Dust Brothers production team and began overdubbing keyboards for the Delicious Vinyl label. While working as a handyman, Nishita accepted a job repairing the Beastie Boys' Silverlake, CA, home; soon, he became a pivotal member of the group's Grand Royal posse and performed on both 1992's Check Your Head and 1994's Ill Communication. Fast forward to 2007, when a shared association with none other than Jack Johnson -- via Beasties producer Mario Caldato, Jr. -- led the way to a contract with Johnson's Brushfire label and a new Money Mark pop album, Brand New by Tomorrow.

This is my favorite Folk-Pop album that's come out in the last couple of years. Over & Over & Over again, my lady loves it, my son loves it and I really love this album. It will grow on you. Big up all my Mexanese folk(or Japxicans). I love you JACER your my number one mutt!

Bombay Bicycle Club-I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose(2009)

I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose is the debut album by London alternative rock band, Bombay Bicycle Club. The band announced the title through MySpace and their official website on 31 March 2009. The title comes from a line in the song "After Hours" by A Tribe Called Quest, from their 1990 album People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm.

This is a record I bought on Tuesday and been bumping it all week long. These kids are so fricken talented, keep an eye out or two son. Tough and beatiful songs. Thanks Pace.
